The Croatian Guitar Quartet will perform on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. on the Central Stage of Commons C at EXPO 2025 Osaka as part of the thematic week “Necessities of Life ”.
The Croatian Guitar Quartet, composed of Zoran Dukić, Petrit Çeku, Maroje Brčić, and Tvrtko Sarić, held their first joint concert in 2016 and has been performing under the aforementioned name since 2020. The Croatian Guitar Quartet concert program covers almost all musical eras, making sure that performances and premieres of compositions by Croatian composers are an indispensable part of it.
The album „Guitarrismo“ was released in 2020 and was nominated for the Porin Award in two categories. At the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, they were awarded with the Orlando Award. In 2022, the quartet released a new compact disc, „Bagatelle for Home Use“, dedicated to selected compositions by Croatian composers.
